Happy Friday Fashionistas!!

It has been a sunny week over here in so-cal and I had to take advantage of it. Am I crazy for wearing this long sleeved button up on a hot day with the sun beating down on me? Possibly, but I am such a fan of layers and have been inspired by all of the fashion bloggers I follow lately and their layers of goodness. I love the color of this lovely, thin button up, and it paired well with the coral shorts. Of course, for the love of tribal prints, I had to throw in a fun pattern somewhere in this outfit. Enter my black and white tribal design tank.

To finish the outfit off, I decided to wear my suede black booties. As I said in my Summer Festival Post, the booties go so well with shorts, dresses, and skirts. I added in my feather clips to give that "indie zest" that I was looking for. I hope everyone is inspired for the weekend! Make it a good one!

A Flintstone kind of look

Happy Sunday Everyone!

As I was posting these pictures I couldn't help but think of Pebbles from the Flintstones!!

The bun, the colors and triangles on the dress, and the large necklace. I purchased this dress recently at a thrift store, what a great find, right?! I can dress this lovely piece up with heels and a blazer or dress it down with cute sandals or flats. This is an old necklace and one of my faves from Forever 21, and the large braided bracelet is from downtown LA. Instead of wearing layers upon layers of jewelry I thought i'd wear a couple of big pieces.  The color of my gorgeous Steve Madden platform heels went perfectly! I love wearing a cute little dress or skirt with these heels. I don't want to take away from them by wearing pants, odd I know, but i'm sure you fashionistas get it! Hey there fashionistas!

I had to take advantage of this gorgeous sunny yet cool day. That is why I thought i'd whip out my bright and warm sweater from H&M. H&M has some really great simple items at a great price. Everything is at a great low price there, but this sweater was def worth the 15.00 I paid for it! Same goes for the clutch and the purple pumps! I love bringing out the black and white color combo and adding a bright color to it! Makes the bright colors stand out! These pumps are great! They go with a cute pair of jeans to make a casual outfit look chic. Of course, I had to have the bright gold jewelry in the mix :] Instead of layering bangles I wanted one cuff that stood out. I hope everyone enjoys and please let me know what you think!
